Expert Driving Without Compromise
The ADI Part 2 test is a rigorous 60-minute practical driving examination conducted by a DVSA Senior Examiner. To pass, you must demonstrate impeccable vehicle control, advanced anticipation, eco-safe driving, and complete mastery of all road types.
You are allowed a maximum of 6 minor driving faults (compared to 15 on a learner test). Any serious or dangerous fault results in an immediate fail. Most experienced drivers have picked up informal habits over the years—our job is to refine your technique so driving flawlessly feels completely natural.

Advanced Road Craft
Mastering systematic scanning, mirror timing, lane discipline, and smooth speed matching on high-speed dual carriageways like the M27 and A3(M).
Precision Manoeuvres
Executing parallel parking, bay parking, pulling up on the right, and emergency stops with pinpoint accuracy and active 360° observation.
Independent Driving & SatNav
Navigating for 20 minutes via GPS or traffic signs while maintaining high-level concentration, verbal commentary, and flawless positioning.
How In-Car Part 2 Training Works
- Initial Assessment Drive: We start with a 1-hour driving assessment to identify existing habits and map out a tailored development plan.
- Local Portsmouth Test Routes: Practice across challenging local road layouts, including complex roundabouts, narrow urban streets, and rural routes.
- Mock Part 2 Exams: Complete full-length mock tests under strict DVSA marking conditions so you know exactly where you stand before test day.
